Twopenny has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Your album (stamp crops, notes, tiers, countries) is stored on your devices and synced only through your own private iCloud. You can turn iCloud sync off in Settings.
Before your first scan the app asks you to agree. Each photo you choose to scan is sent over HTTPS to our server, which forwards it to Anthropic, a company that runs the image recognition model, to read the stamps. Our server does not store the photo, and Anthropic does not use it to train its models under its commercial terms.
A photo can only show what you point the camera at, so keep letters and addresses out of the frame.
To count the daily limit, the app sends a random device ID kept in the iPhone Keychain and your time zone. The server keeps only the ID and a counter per day and deletes rows after 2 days.
Pro purchases are handled by Apple. The server checks the signed App Store transaction to allow the Pro limit and does not keep it.
The camera is optional. You can pick a photo from your library instead.
The eBay link opens eBay's public website, which has its own privacy policy.
Deleting a stamp or using Delete all stamps removes it from all your devices.
Twopenny is not directed to children under 13.
Ranges are a rough guide, not an appraisal. Independent app, not affiliated with any catalog or auction house.
